Secretariat Meeting 6/15/2018

Minutes, additions/corrections and approval – Emailed out. Changes on emailed minutes made. Chrystle Fuentes motioned to approve Minutes, Jean Hershey 2nded the motion and all members present approved.
 
Treasurer’s Report – Bob Steckley presented Treasurers report.  Total deposits of $742.00 which was $71.00 Sequela   offerings, Contributions $250.00, Use of cabin at camp ID-Have (Mark Hershey) $200.00, Bottles Recycling $98.00 and team dinner (Teresa Waynetska). Disbursement of $444.30 which was Check to Tom Montgomery for Pizza $169.30, check to Steve Buckley (travel) $250.00 and check to PUM rental $25.00. Book balance of $2574.80 one outstanding check so bank balance is $2824.80.
Ron Hershey motioned to accept, 2nded by Jean Hershey and all members present approved.
 
Old Business.
  

1. Nomination for Communication, Women’s leader and Treasure:  Arden Stineker for treasure, Mark Hershey and Maria Ferrara for communication and Sarah Odoms for women’s leader.
2. Vice President: Chrystle was asked if she would fill the next 2 year term as Vice President. She said yes. Jean Hershey motioned to accept Chrystle Fuentes and Ron Hershey 2nd the motion and all members present approved.
3. Dana’s Guitar:  Jerod Odom talked with Dana; she said her insurance did not pay. But not to worry her husband blessed her with a new guitar.  
4. Camp fee increase: after lots of discussion. Motion was made by Ron Hershey to increase the camp fees to $175.00 2nd by Chrystle Fuentes and all present approved. There will be a payment plan and the information for camp will be available sooner.
5. Survey results are back on this year’s weekend. No major problems.
6. Policy update; Policy for Clergy for TVTB will be defended as: needs to be actively holding a congregation. Motion made by Ron Hershey, 2nd by Jean Hershey and all present approved.

 
New Business: 

Men’s and women’s vice picks and discussions: 
Jimmy Looney asked for Dave Tompkins to be his vice. He meets the criteria. Motioned by Chrystle Fuentes, 2nd by Ron Hershey and all present approved.
 
Laura Tompkins asked for Angela Meyer to be her vice. She meets the criteria. Motioned by Jean Hershey 2nd by Chrystle Fuentes and all present approved.
 
Round Table Discussion:

1. July International trip: room is $421.73 and plane tickets $643.00. Motion made by Ron Hershey to pay for room, 2nd Chrystle Fuentes. This will be the second trip this year that was help with.
2. Storage of TVTD stuff: will be stored at Jean and Mark Hershey house.
3. Sequela for July will be in Aberdeen Idaho.
4. Reminder there is no Secretariat this month. Do to so many members being out of town. The ballot for position on Secretariat will be emailed out on the Morning of the 19th of July and will need to be returned to Jerod Odoms by 5pm on July 20th. Please follow in instructions on the ballot.
